Participate. Others Will Follow.

Right now, we do not actually have a true Democracy. The majority doesn’t rule with the Electoral College in place. A President can be, and oftentimes is, elected with fewer than a majority of the popular votes. Even before the last election, 65% of Americans supported the switch to a popular vote system, and thus a true Democracy.

It’s not impossible to believe that a true Democracy can be accomplished. A lot rests upon the shoulders of the Gen Z and Millennial generations due to the powers of communication you possess. With your participation, the time to begin having a true Democracy is now. Sitting out the next Presidential contest is not an option.

Now, more than ever before, your generations can effect real change and take charge of the way a lifetime of values can hold tight. But you must use the power of your voice and your vote to make your generation’s future, and the rest of our futures count for more.
